Round filter press is a kind of special recessed plate filter press. Because it’s driven by hydraulic station, so also is a kind of hydraulic filter press. The difference with the normal filter press machine is the plate. As the name, round filter press adopts round filter plates as the filter plate pack. Because for the round filter plate has a better geometry characters and normally the round plate adopts pure pp as plate material, thus it can endure much higher feeding pressure to get much better filtering performance.
The traditional round filter press beam is cylindrical tube, thus it can not add plate shifter and must manual cake discharge. So on the base of hydraulic round filter press, we developed the automatic round high pressure filter press. It not only has all functions and features of automatic recessed filter press, but also has special features of round filter plate. Automatic round filter press can greatly increase the filtering efficiency.
The round filter press mainly used for clay of various ceramics and porcelain, so it also called porcelain filter press, clay filter press or ceramic filter press. In this industry, the feeding pressure is normally around 1.6 MPa. As a automatic filter press, the automatic round filter press also has a emergency stop devices. It’s located on the side of the beam and has two functions. One is to avoid emergency. The other is for stop the plate shifter for cake discharging. For some solids, it might be very viscous, even open the plates, the cake can not discharge by itself. Then pull the emergency wire, the plate shifter will stop for manual cake discharging. After manually cake discharging, then pull it again, the plate shifter will work as normal.
